Demonstration Kit

Demonstration kits are available for the TSL Tri-Scan readers for use with the Motorola MC70/75 terminal. They are essential to allow the functionality of the Tri-Scan readers to be explored. The kits are available with the capacitive or optical versions of the Tri-Scan readers and the contact/contactless reader only version.

The same Demonstration kits also support the Multimodal Biometric ePassport reader and include the OCR-B functionality.

Each kit contains:

• The TriScan reader
• Sample contact and contactless cards
• An install for the eDemo suite of software including:
  ePIV
  ePassport
  eFinger
  eManifest
  eViewer
• When the capacitive Tri-scan reader kit is ordered a single finger matcher license is supplied. This is valid for a single MC70/75 terminal only. If the demonstration software is installed on additional terminals and finger matching is required then additional finger matching licenses can be purchased. The demonstration software can be used without a finger matching license to demonstrate all other functions.

• No licence is required for the optical Tri-scan reader kit because finger biometric template matching and extraction is performed by the reader.

Developer Kit

• Developer kits will provide source code for
  a variety of cut-down, simple applications
  that can accelerate the developer’s progress
  to building a custom application
  
• The developer kits are only available once a
  Demonstration kit has been purchased
  
• The source code for the eDemo applications
  is not supplied in this kit – this source
  code may in the future become available under
  a separate agreement
