Technology Solutions (TSL) is an innovative company based in Central England. We specialise in embedded and snap-on accessories for ruggedized handheld computer terminals. Key technologies include Global Positioning System (GPS), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Contact Smart Card, Fingerprint Biometrics, 1D and 2D barcode scanning, imaging, Bluetooth and GPRS/GSM.

Our Experience:

We develop hardware, embedded firmware and supporting software, for both PC and Windows Mobile devices. Our experience in developing embedded solutions includes small signal analogue and high speed data links from DC to 2.45 GHz. We have developed many radio based solutions using both proprietary designed architectures and a wide range of OEM radio modules, antennas and matching circuits. Our RFID experience covers the full range of frequencies used in RFID - LF (125kHz - 134kHz), HF (13.56MHz) and UHF (850MHz - 950MHz) as well as a wide range of encrypted transponder devices. In addition we have extensive experience with Fingerprint Biometric technologies in combination with contact and contactless Smart Cards including ePassports.

Technology Solutions has extensive experience in rapidly bringing products from concept through to fully tested and validated Type Approved products for volume deployment.  TSL has a number of products for Intrinsically Safe environments (IS Hazardous Environments) to ATEX Zone 1 and UL Class 1 Div 2.

Our Products:

We have a range of standard ruggedized snap-on and stand-alone products incorporating many different technologies. Many standard products are available in the form of Explorer Kits which incorporate one of the products along with items including a demonstration application, source code for the application, a range of different transponders (for RFID products), supporting documentation and any other items required to evaluate the product right “out-of-the-box”.

Many of our products can be customised in either form or function to suit specific customer requirements. We work with a handful of partner companies to complement our in-house skills in order to provide a full service, holistic solution for our client.

Product concepts can be developed from solid models, Stereo Lithography, Selective Laser Sintering, CNC machining through to production Injection Moulding – all mechanical designs being developed in the latest Pro E Wildfire environment.
